Dear Planet Earth, I woke up this morning at a loss with myself… Like a fish out of water, A mamma bear with no baby bear actually. Its my baby’s birthday today and he is a big 12 years old and I am unable to wake him up with hugs, kisses armed with cake and pressies like I always do He is with his dad and I know that we must be fair about this sharing the kiddies thing but for ducks sake! I don’t like it. So I did the only thing I could.. I phoned him and sent all my love over the phone. <–Not the same, eh. Talking to him is always cool but this slayed me.. lol! As I was saying ‘bye he promptly announced that it is just one more year and then he will be a MAN! Omgosh, bless him and his socks! Isn’t that just the darnedest...

Mom, today you would have been a stunning 21 year old (with 45 years experience), making others jealous with your bright smile, generous heart and naughty giggle. I woke up this morning remembering how much you loved your birthdays and how it didn’t matter if it was a handmade broken claypot or the most expensive perfume, you loved it all. Today is not so much of a sad day than a day of remembering your birthdays you shared with us fulled with smiles and your over abundant love. At the very thought of Tom Selleck my mom would visibly swoon and shout at all of us to keep quiet because her boyfriend was coming on the telly! Aint he Just GAWJISS!!! Even my Dad understood he was out moustached by ol Magnum PI. He would just chuckle and watch my mom get excited everytime TomSelleck smiled for the camera’s and how she would gasp when he got tackled by the bad guys..
