I am sitting here in my lounge, enjoying a glass of red wine, relaxing with my guy and typing this post from my BB. Ready for an awesome christmas 2011. Even though my christmas tree is still in its box unpacked and tinsel free does not defer the cheer that is slowly enveloping me from the toes up. I understand this could just be the wine talking but ho ho ho anyway We have a lovely picnic planned for just the two of us tomorrow (more wine) with one or two planned stops in the evening. ..Love! This is what we should all be doing during this festive season. Now I am not advocating you go covet the neighbours wifey or hug an angry rhino. No-no-no-no.. Things are going to be different.. Told SexyG that I am not putting up a Xmas tree this year.. I’m not planning Xmas lunch and I am not buying any pressies this year apart from one special gift to each of our kids which may or may not be handmade. Xmas day will be spent differently, for one I told my kids that they need to go spend it with their Dad, He wants them and it will be their sisters first Xmas so they should spend it with her. After many moans, groans and fearful pleas of not being fed on Xmas day I finally got them to understand that they just have no choice. I can not believe it is Sunday the 28th of December. I honestly didn’t think I was going to survive this Christmas at all… It was supposed to be a quiet lovely Xmas like last year where I could cook elaborate yumminess, eat it all, open the pressies and then collapse on my bed with the most pressing thought being should i sleep with or without knickers.. I can’t believe that our government* decided that easter was falling during an inconvenient time so they promptly shifted it one month back! Ok, I can.. just wanted to appear shocked… Whats next Christmas in November?? I told my boys because its a leap year the easter bunny only gives easter eggs to adults..
