Freud had a theory that some schizophrenics, psycopaths and masochists find a socially acceptable outlet for their mad desires. They would for instance become surgeons, dentists etc – occupations where it is acceptable to inflict pain on others. I think gym instructors fall in that category

I hated my ex and couldnt stand the sight of him and i never wanted to be around him for even a minute,but when it came to our daughters he had unlimted visitation rights. As much as i wanted to be nasty and vandictive i had to be a grown up and let him see the girls whenever they wanted to see each other. Im sorry she is been a selfish,horrible heartless bitch. I will hold thumbs for you both! I too am going through the same thing where my lovely Ex is allowing me the absolute minimum in terms of visitation rights and making the most insane “rules” to justify everything.

The point that bothers me about this and gets me sad is the fact that the kids wont know their dad, both SexyG and I respectively. They wont know how much they are loved and missed. All that gets fed to them and all they know is that their dad isnt there. No full explanation, no re-assurance that their dad NEVER wanted to leave them, only their mother. It actually breaks my heart to imagine my daughters thinking ill of me for doing nothing wrong. Judging me for “leaving” them, while all I wanted was to leave their mother.

Sigh. The things we do for our kids. If only that was seen, the heartache, the brave faces and the attempts to keep their life as simple and uncomplicated as possible. The world is a cruel, cruel bitch sometimes.
