Dating is a dangerous game even when done in the usual manner of social gatherings(braais), blind dates and wingman hook-ups with all the roofies and tequila and and and…

BUT

Online Dating  has brought the creepiness of pseudo online chat profiles and voyeurism into the scenario too .

And it is one thing talking about yourself in these seemingly harmless chats but if you have kids, don’t be stupid and expose them to possible crazies.

Believe it or not, people lie about themselves.. and more importantly they lie about what they want.

You may have the cutest kids in the world, but share that information with your mom/cousins/bff.. don’t created a shopping list for the apparent nice guy on the other end of the webcam who is in fact a possible paedophile.

Over and above that.. there are stalkers out there and if you have them on BBM and you foursqaure your location, he/she is going to drive over and check you out.. #truestory.

Don’t be stupid people. The world is full of crazies, and you are about to meet them all thanks to the wonderful world of technology. And before you say, “what does it matter?” . I suggest you think about how you would defend yourself in a bad situation.
