It finally happened…

I was going to go in detail how I managed to get lost in a one horse town on Friday.. and bore you with the trivial details of how I totally faux paux ‘d  with the local IT guy there (Steve)…

I was going to, but since then something happened to me that I thought only happened to others..

Mother’s day is kind of a sad day for me but what gets me through it is my boys.. the love I feel for them and the sweet things they  (try) do for me.

But this Sunday I was met with a complete reality check as my eldest completely ignored me the entire day. All my attempts to contact him were to no avail as he was at a friends place. He didn’t sms me, call me, send an email or any FB love for that matter.. And when I finally heard from him at 4pm it was to tell me to come fetch him.

My saving grace for Sunday was that my youngest made me strawberry toast and coffee and kept trying to rub my feet..lol! And this totally makes my heart smile, But I keep wondering  how long before he too just ignores me and moves on?

I will get over this and he did apologise afterwards with numerous excuses.. but my heart is still sore. I really didn’t think either my boys would be forget me so quickly.
