An almost OOPS!

It had been raining here a fair bit yesterday and when driving down the driveway at home  last night I was delivered a very serious warning regarding the fragility of my existence…

A branch had fallen across the driveway and only saw it as I turned the corner coming down. I tried to brake but between the moss and the berries the car did a slide instead with the car very almost going over the edge of the driveway which would’ve resulted in me being seriously hurt and the car being written off…

I am glad I managed to regain control of the car when I did and even though I probably gashed the roof a fair bit (haven’t looked yet) I came out of it only slightly shaken up.

Life is short and I was reminded of that last night. I have had a lot of time to think about it and I need to get my shit together because I never know when the next branch is going to be dropping across my path putting my life in danger..
