Bring me a hammer…

Lately telecommunications and me have not been friends. It started with Vodakak decommissioning our local tower leaving me practically with no signal since November last year  (still no word when they replacing it) to Telkom dragging their heels moving our line to our new premises (been over a month).

And to top it all off, yesterday my phone decided to not use my phone contacts as default but keeps referring back to my sim card for its informasie as  it were.

I can’t really blame the Omnia for all my heartache but it is currently the only one I can scream at, so it has to go. In June I think I am going to upgrade to a blingberry so I can be cool by the pool like everyone else icon smile Bring me a hammer...

Got my eye on a torch.. but I am more than happy to be dissuaded on this topic.

Till Next week peeps!!  Have a truly porno weekend with all the bells and whistles!

You can tell windows mobile to use your SIM contacts or Phone Contacts. There is an application called “SIM Manager” in your programs menu.

This is where you can copy the SIM contacts to the phone memory (or vice versa). Also you can configure where your contact list is pulled from (eg phone or SIM) when you are dialing a number in the phone. Forgotten where to do that but it should be there.

tweet me if you have trouble
