Day of Fathers..

Yesterday was Father’s Day.. and even though my Daddy is no longer with me, I send hugs and kisses to him all the same.

So while doing the “I love you daddy because you were strong & made my mommy smile and and and..” speech he interrupted me with one of his favourite sayings.

If any of us made the mistake of asking when it is mother’s day he would promptly respond

” Mother’s Day is 9 months after Father’s Day…”

… this statement confused me for several years LOL!

My Dad.. the naughty Irishman that still manages to make me giggle

Hope all the daddy’s out there where lavished with hugs, giggles and tickles yesterday as much as I used to lavish on my daddy..
