If it were a true family restaurant, and all things being equal, surely they should have male waiters in tight “Zohan” like pants for the Ladies? Or at least something that the women would find equally attractive?
I think I’ll give it a swerve, and the food is probably worse than Spur.

WOW – interesting reactions! I know that I would NEVER take my 11 year old daughter to Hooters. Apart from her cramping my style, there are a myriad of reasons ( ). I am not protecting her from “harsh realities”, its just not appropriate – children are not stupid – they are small people – do me a favour – if I gave my daughter a choice of going to a restaurant with waiters with huge boobs (awesome!) or a regular family restaurant , she would choose the latter, everytime! What a bizarre concept!

I don’t think you’re being overprotective either. I reckon it’s good to expose your children to the realities of the world, but in the best way you can. I think there are better places to eat than Hooters and better ways to learn about the female form too

No seriously, I wouldn’t take my kids there either. I totally agree with your comment B. You said everything you needed to say in your post too.
