I don’t know anyone who can sing our anthem flawlessly and as for the flag…well my god, how do you expect the French to remember which way our overcomplicated flag goes? They live in a sane country where their flag is sane.
Anyway, mistakes were made, performers were stoned or ill prepared…but life goes on. Although I suppose it is convenient to make a big deal out of something so utterly trivial rather than focusing on the actual important things – like the shop being out of niknaks…WTF?!
