So what was in the BoX??

My birthday.. I love my birthday and this year was no exception.. I was bombarded with phonecalls, sms’s,facebook wellwishes, tweets, a Blip Song was dedicated to me that made me giggle no end..  and of course this lovely post by Goblin that  made me cry..And the three handsome men in my life took real good care of me showing their love and making me feel special.

Thank you.. You all Rock!!

Now for the burning question on EVERYONE’S  lips..

.. The box..what was in the box?!?!?!  *giggle* I took a few guesses at it too thinking it was some sexy lingerie or this LOVELY Sexy Red Handbag I saw a few weeks bag (with matching shoes of course) or perhaps some replacement fluffy pink slippers (mine got destroyed recently) or heaven forbid a romantic holiday in  CapeTown for two !!   .. but it was all wrong.

He made me wait.. and I waited. Patiently. Earnestly. Because he remembered.  He remembered my birthday. He went out in advance and bought me something because I matter enough for him to remember!

So I thanked him by waking him up at 5am with coffee demanding he let me open it immediately !

I sat on the bed, smile on my face and felt 10 years old again.. fulled with glee as the moment I been waiting for has arrived!

He handed me the box of which I knew every inch and could tell you how how many damn spots where on the lid and I lifted the lid carefully peeking underneath and would YOU BELIEVE there was another box inside! Bastard! So I quickly opened the second one and inside.. A WHITE BOX! At this point I am impatient…but persevered through the layers of concealment as they were. And then finally underneath it all was my gift.

Let me describe it..It is the most beautiful wooden box that looks like a mini wardrobe with very ornate handles and such with white velvet lining and elaborate markings. And it is for my jewellery.. I finally have a Jewellery BOX! (my dresser is a warzone of fandangly bits) and not just an ordinary Jewellery box but a stunning handmade one.

Closed – it looks like an antique wardrobe..

After thanking him properly for getting me such an awesome pressie and telling him how much I love him for such a wonderful bf, obviously… It was time to wake the boys for school and when I went through I was serenaded by D from his bed wishing me a Happy Birthday.. My heart was close to exploding by now with all the sentiment being bandied about and told everyone to stop before I collapse in a puddle of emotion..

I woke my brother up and wished him a Happy Birthday and was met with grumbles and groans about how I always get the first word in!

J gave me a birthday box too.. well, it was more like birthday boxes..  It was actually 5 little boxes each opening up to reveal a smaller box inside until the 5th box revealed a small note and a tiny cut out heart.. let me show you rather..

Isnt it just such a thoughtful and beautiful gift!!

OMGOSH!!! Arent these just THE MOST FANTASTIC WORDS EVER!!

And this is why I officially declare this as one of the best birthdays ever!!!
