What Next?

So here I am caterwauling about not having hot water, thinking how tough my life is and then the Gods decided to throw a Lightning Fireball my way and blow some stuff up..just for kicks! Well… I awoke with such a fright I literally jumped out of bed with my heart racing in my chest and my panties bunched between my butt cheeks. The room was lit up like a christmas tree followed by a cracking sound that seemed to last forever.. complete darkness and silence……then the alarm suddenly came to life and went on to scream at us incessantly with no way to turn it off it would seem and we were left fumbling in the dark trying to rip the battery out.
