Ah man.. I get little letters in the office from time to time from my boys.. normally when they want something or to suck-up cos they know they been full of dwang and punishment is looming!!!
But every now and again I get a REAL GEM!!
My youngest “D” is 10 and he such a darling.. full of poo and will push his luck every chance he gets.. but I wouldnt trade* him for anything in the world..
This is what I got delivered on my desk late last night while I was doing some task my eldest “J” whined me into doing..

I love the kid.. he got loads of hugs and kisses for this one.. Makes up for all the other moments when I understood why some animals eat their young..

That is so cute. He’s dreaming of a place of his own. Of course, when he’s 18 he probably won’t want to move out any more.

I am sorry…but I am laughing. (in a good way).
Reminds me of me and my brother when we were that age. We were a few years from teenagers but became aware of the idea that we would be legally able to get jobs in a few years and were closer to being a grown up than a baby and we said odd things like that (i.e. having to live on our own or having to buy a car).
That quickly passed and then we got out our action figures and stuff again. But I think now “why did we think about those things?”
