I am very aware that there are *SOME PEOPLE who just don’t appreciate the music that emanates from the dorky yet cute James Blunt..
All I have to say is this.. Tough titties baby.. It isn’t about you!! Its about me.. and whether I laaik him or not.. so

On Monday night I went with SexyG to the Botanic Gardens in Durban to watch him perform..
.. it was perfect!! I had a lovely picnic packed with cheese and biscuits and some chocies, etc.. so there we were sitting on our blankie .. watching the crowds gather around us… people setting up their own little trysts and laughing gaily in anticipation of the wonderful evening of good food.. great company and awesome entertainment brought about by one times James Blunt himself!
And while I was laying back, I felt a few drops on my face.. I turn and look at SexyG and said ” I hope that was you drooling on me babe! ” He laughed.. and then when realisation hit us we scurried around to pack up, quick-quick!!
Yes, you guessed it.. the rain wanted to join us.. And join us it did!! It poured and poured.. and poured.. about 20% of the crowd left.. the rest of us diehards just stood there and shivered..
I am quite glad that Sexy G was there to keep me warm.. 
So eventually after almost 2 hours the rain eased back and Josie Fields opened for James Blunt.. But while she was singing the cleanup crew where sucking up all the water around her with giant vacuum cleaners.. (was really funny to watch.. )She is indeed a very talented artist and I enjoyed watching her perform! Will be watching her from now on..I am sure we will all be seeing alot more of her..
After Josie had left the stage, I noticed that the skies had cleared.. the air was still chilly but I had some really strong warm arms keeping me safe so I didn’t care that we had to stand for the rest of the night..
James Blunt did not disappoint! He came on stage with all the vigour and passion and charm that is evident in his lyrics.. His singing was even better on stage than on radio/cd. He is a very passionate person and this shows.. He made the crowd laugh with “Ill take everything” .. and made the crowd cry with “No Bravery”
While singing “Goodbye My Lover” I pink bra was flung at him on stage.. he looked at it, smiled and flung it back..lol.. Perhaps it wasn’t his colour?? Perhaps he wanted a full set.. no point in the bra without the panty, eh?
He was funny.. Has stacks of charm.. And made us almost forget that we were all cold and wet and tired, from standing in the cold and wet.. lol!
He made me smile, He made me laugh, he made me cry and most of all.. I fell in love with SexyG all over again for taking me and loving me in the rain..
Thank you James, Had a lot of fun… See you again soon.. but for now.. I will just have to listen to you on the radio..

I saw him being interviewed by Rove McManus (an Aussie guy) and James Blunt has the best sense of humor, such a shame about that song he whines…goodbye my lover…cringe! That’d put me off if I had to listen to him sing (and in the rain)…but I could certainly listen to him chat

I hoenstly don’t get why so many people don’t like James Blunt. I like his voice and I’ve hummed along to his music on more than one occasion. I think he’s okay, he is clearly very talented. I don’t know why we Brits don’t like talented people.
